Speedy Legs was originally born by the name Ricardo Fernandez. This legendary dance figure has become an icon in the breakin community. As time went by and music and dance progressed through history, Speedy Legs made an unforgettable mark in the dance world culture playing in the streets as a teenager. He welcomed the reaction of the B-boy Masters Pro-Am Dance Competition spearheaded by Speedy.

One of “Speedy Legs” ‘s most notable contributions to the breakin genre of dance is the creation of the B-boy Masters Pro Am Dance Competition. This showcase was originally founded and spearheaded by Speedy. Due to hip replacement surgery in 2011, “Speedy Legs” has gone behind the scenes on the dance floor producing the Miami Pro-Am Competitions. He has also been a guest speaker at competitions and conferences worldwide. One of his new achievements is teaching Breakin at the DAVID POSNACK JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER in Davie, FL. This new century will now bring a new breed of young dancers into the limelight with the upcoming Paris Olympics celebrating Breakin and adding it as a competition.
